This is a bad way to start this off but I’m feeling a bit low today.
You see today would have been my Dad’s birthday.
He died back in the early nineties and I have blocked out the exact date in my head. I won’t let my wife tell me the exact date because I don’t want to remember it.
He was my Hero I loved him so much and still feel lost with out him.
I have felt my share of pain just like everyone else in this world. But this one just won’t heal, it hurts as bad today as it did back then. probebly more,,If you still have your “Pop”
give him a call or hug him while you can because you can never get today back once HE is gone.
Hello, not much to say but I’m still trying to get this blog stuff into my ring of habits.
I am writing more and have a joy in my heart that helps. My Grandson is reached an age that has let his understanding of slightly more complex issues fill his mind so explanations are not as easy as they once were.
home life has woken up from a long sleep and my wife and i are enjoying each other more thats all I’ll say on that.
I have made some new friends at: http://www.mywriterscircle.com
some are becoming very close friends and I hope to meet them one day face to face. Every once in a while writers gather in Las Vegas for special conference and my wife and I are looking forward to going. I don’t think we will be doing much gambling as we plan to spend most of the time with friends. Being a bit timid of heights I am looking forward to the rush of getting a room high in one of the towers and pressing aguinst the window to see all the lights down below. Thinking of that already gets my adrenaline pumping.
Well on that thought I’ll close for now but I’ll come and share more thought later.
Sounds beautiful. You seem to have such a romantic flare that are perfect for your romance novels. Good luck with Vegas and the lucky friends you meet there.
I lost my son so feel your pain over your dad, but in reverse. Howver the date he died is etched in my mind and I relive it everyday of my life. I live for the day we are re-united.
Your artwork is beautiful, and your writing equally so. As you know we ar gemini twins born 6 years apart, yet less than 24 hours in spirit.
I met you on MWC and hope that you will consider me one of your close friends. I look forward to getting to know you and your family.
MAN ~Vs. ~ MACHINES as a whole.
The more they learn,
The more power they are given,
The more experience they gain,
The more advanced they get,
The more money they have control of….
One of them everyone wants and loves to have.
The other one is miserable to have in the same room with you.
You can never get them to do what you want unless you know which buttons to push.
All of us that want to be writers must have doubts about what they are doing. As for me without any formal training, these times can get a bit rough.
The way I figure it, I’ll probably never get rich or famous writing so I might as well just resign myself to do it for the fun.
I want to try things in writing that no one else will dare to try because an editor or publisher won’t touch it if it is done “That way.”
So if you read my work and like it then I accomplished something, I gave someone else pleasure in reading a story. Be warned though, I plan to break every rule that has ever been set up as a guideline. This way I might learn why they made those rules in the first place. So now, I wonder what trouble I can get into today?
It’s been a while since I logged something over here.
I have been working hard on a story and was just about to give up on it when a friend urged me to keep working on it. I post snippets of it everyday at the writer’s site I belong to but for the most part, it seems to go without comment.
I’ve been working on my dialog between a man and a woman (future lovers)
For practice, I have written stories that are racier overall because erotica is important part of writing fiction- love stories.
In this story (Random Chance Retrieving Faith) I am trying for a more realistic interaction. Anyway, I’ll be back with more later.

The question is which one is which?
Well, here are my answers
One of them everyone wants and loves to have.
A computer
The other one is miserable to have in the same room with you.
Hubby in a bad mood!
You can never get them to do what you want unless you know which buttons to push.
